ROAD: National highway is well connected to Terminal connected through Bharuch city and from there connected to state highway is connected to Dahej.
RAILS: Well connected to National rail network. Nearest railway station is Bharuch (BH).
AIR: Nearest Airport: Vadodara (BDQ), Surat (STV) & Ahmedabad (AMD) are nearest airports for Domestic and as well as for International routes.

Climate: Dahej has a tropical savanna climate moderated strongly by the Arabian Sea. The summer begins in early March and lasts until June. April and May are the hottest months.
Temperature: The average maximum temperature is 43°C
Monsoon Season – May 15 to September 15. Being all weather port jetty remains operational.
Wind: The wind speed during monsoon period is between 20kts to 30kts and wind direction Westerly to South-Westerly. Berthing operation is suspended when mean wind speed is more than 30 knots, and significant wave height is 1.50 M or more. When vessel moored alongside, cargo should be stopped when wind speed reaches up to 30 knots and swell height of 1.50M or more. When the vessel is alongside, loading arm(s) shall be disconnected when the mean wind speed is more than 30 knots and swell height of 1.75 M or more. Vessel is cast off when wind speed is more than 35 knots and swell height is more than 2.00 M. Cargo will resume once the mean wind speed falls under 30 knots for a period of at least 30 minutes.

Crew change is possible by giving prior notice of 03 days in working days. All foreign nationalities on-signers must have valid Indian Visa (transit type) with special endorsement of vessel name & name of port. (The option of “any Indian Port” can be alternatively selected). For foreign nationalities off-signers, an exit visa will be applied as per the flight schedule. Nearest airports are Vadodara & Surat. Dahej being minor port 24 hrs & 365 days Immigration / Custom authorities are not available for crew change. They are available in limited time frame of 1100 hrs to 1730 hrs from Monday to Saturday. Sunday immigration formalities are not possible due to non-availability of immigration officer.
