WEATHER CONDITIONS

Seasonal - Fair weather condition from  October to  May and monsoon season from June to September. Whether condition does not have much effect during heavy rain.

PORT REGULATIONS

1) Discharge Operation should commence within 3 hours 30 minutes after berthing. (2) There should not be any stoppages more than two hours between cargo operations. (3) Vessel should ready to sail within 4 hours after completion cargo operation failing above due to any reasons, Penal berth hire charges applicable as per the port tariff. (4) Ship gangway to be used and there is no shore gangway available. (5) Once vessel submit the readiness for sailing and could not get ready in declared time due to any reasons, Port authority may impose FALSE SINGLE i.e. Penal berth hire charges equal to one days berth hire charges. (6) Berthing will be considered by the port on first come first serve basis subject to readiness in all respects including cargo documents and tank terminals.
