Total 16 dry cargo berths are available with quay length of 2532 metres. Out of which is 1987 metres straight line and 545 metres at an angle of 18o. For stream handling there are one deep draft mooring that is temporarily withdrawn and also one salt mooring that also temporarily withdrawn other three cargo moorings are in the inner harbour area.

Conventional discharge rate achievable for this cargo is around 10000 - 12000 Metric tons per day but should not discharge less then port norms.

Loading/discharging rate is about 7000 - 8000 Metric tons per day.
