BERTH INFORMATION & RESTRICTIONS

Vessel’s drawing draughts of 15.00 meters shall be permitted to dock subject to the high water being 2.2 meters and above. The tides issued by the Surveyor General of India shall be used for this purpose.

During monsoon extra lines shall be used for mooring.

 

Its is mandatory for a vessel over 270 mts LOA to have, two pieces of working Laser Range Finders on board for safe turning around during day & Night.

Vessels of over LOA 370 meters shall be berthed at JNPCT,NSIGT,NSICT,APMT,BMCT. These vessels can be berthed at other berths subject to having an unoccupied berth length of min 15 meters at the forward end (i.e. northwards if STBD side alongside or southwards if portside alongside). These vessels will dock and undock with fully operational bow thrusters.
