In the dry area Open Warehouses:
Cargo is being loaded/discharged by Ship's Cranes fitted with grabs and as well as by Shore Cranes from Gearless vessels. Average loading/discharging is rate, as per port productivity norms.
LOADING / DISCHARGING PROCESS.
After customs clearance.
Conventional discharge rate achievable for this cargo is around 8000 - 10000 Metric tons per day basis working with 4 ship's cranes fitted grabs.
SULPHUR & ROCK PHOSPHATES.
Discharge of Sulphur about 10000 to 12000 Metric tons per day.
BAGGED SUGAR/OTHER BAGGED CARGOES
Cement discharge rate is about 3000-4000 Metric tons per day.
